Lubbock Right-to-Life is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting unborn children. We believe life begins at conception. Both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution include the right to life, and therefore that right should not be in doubt. Court decisions that weaken that right, including Supreme Court decisions, are invalid because they contradict the Constitution. We are dedicated to using any legal remedies to make sure the right to life is is protected.
Our goals -- some national, some state, and some local -- include the following:
Do everything we can legally do to protect the unborn in Lubbock and the rest of the country.
Work to make sure the unborn are protected by law.
Maintain one or more websites and/or a newsletter, to reach local and national audiences, and keep them informed regarding right-to-life issues.
Increase our volunteer base and involve them in our efforts to protect the unborn.
Hold at least one fund-raising event each year to provide the resources necessary to implement our goals.
